Syracuse, NY – The Le Moyne College volleyball hosted Sacred Heart University on Saturday afternoon at Ted Grant Court. The Pioneers won the match 3-0, with set scores of 25-10, 26-24, and 25-13.
The Dolphins celebrated their one senior, outside hitter
Madison Dembroski (Plattekill, N.Y. / Wallkill) tonight for senior night who recorded 17 digs, one assist, and one ace.
For the Dolphins, freshman opposite/outside hitter
Branwyn Lupton (Napanee, Ontario / Napanee District Secondary School) had 11 kills, junior outside hitter
Emily La Ruffa (Rock Hill, N.Y. / Monticello) had nine kills, and sophomore middle hitter
Kayla Anstett (Rochester, N.Y. / Hilton) had six kills. Sophomore setter
Haley Gerken (Buffalo, N.Y. / Frontier) guided the offense with 24 assists, and freshman libero/DS
Haley Buescher (Toledo, Ohio / St. Ursula Academy) had two assists. La Ruffa and Buescher also had nine digs each.
For the Pioneers, Dominique Felix had 13 kills, Eliana Rodgers had seven kills, and Cristina Montanez had six kills. Gaby Zovko had 25 assists, Jasmine Rogers had five assists, and Rodgers had two assists. Rogers also 18 had digs, Felix had 12 digs, and Rodgers had 10 digs.
