Sara Goodwin (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker/Virginia Tech) tallied a career-high four goals to lead the fifth-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 16-6 victory over 25th-ranked Roberts Wesleyan University on Wednesday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.

The Dolphins opened the game with the first two goals. Goodwin started the scoring just 31 seconds into the contest with her second goal of the season. Following almost seven minutes of scoreless play, junior midfielder
Reilly Geer (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) converted a free-position shot for her first tally of the campaign.
Roberts Wesleyan answered back with a pair of goals in a span of 88 seconds to even the score at two. Annie Mulhall scored her 13th goal of the season with 6:32 left and then Tori Lammes finished off a feed from Emma Blumenstock.
Le Moyne regained the lead with two goals in just 31 seconds. Off a curl from behind the net, senior attacker
Gemma Addonizio (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) netted her third goal of the year at the 3:21 mark and then fed graduate student attacker
Jessica Meneilly (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) for her sixth marker of the season.
Sophia Podszebka got the Redhawks within 4-3 by scoring off a feed from Ella Dossier just under two minutes into the second quarter.
The Dolphins pushed their lead to four with the next three goals. Goodwin started the run just 25 seconds later. Almost five minutes later, Meneilly netted her second goal of the day with 7:44 remaining in the half off a dish from junior attacker
Sarah Hutchings (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus). Goodwin scored again 37 seconds later for a 7-3 advantage.
Roberts Wesleyan got within three for the final time with 1:32 left in the half as Alexis Grant scored her sixth goal of the year off a pass from Lammes.
Meneilly capped the scoring in the half with her 150th career goal after taking a feed from sophomore
Grace Detor (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) with 20 seconds left in the half.
Le Moyne scored three times over the opening 5:10 of the third quarter. Graduate student midfielder
Katelyn Karleski (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill/Onondaga C.C.) opened the quarter's scoring at the 13:36 mark by flicking a pass from Goodwin into the net for her second goal of the season. Addonizio scored her second goal of the afternoon with 11:27 in the third to get the Dolphins into double digits. Hutchings netted her first goal of the day with 9:50 remaining following a pass from Karleski.
The Redhawks took advantage of a Le Moyne card to scored their fifth goal of the game as Blumenstock tallied an extra-player goal off a pass from Tannah O'Neil-Blake.
The Dolphins put the game away with the final four goals of the quarter. Detor pushed the margin back to seven with 6:20 left off a free-position shot. Just 46 seconds later, Hutchings converted a free-position shot of her own. Addonizio registered her fifth goal of the season with 4:45 left and then Goodwin extended the lead to double figures with her career-best fourth goal of the game with 1:48 to go.
Roberts Wesleyan got within single digits for the final time with 9:41 left in the fourth quarter as Mulhall finished off a pass from Blumenstock.
Hutchings ended the game's scoring with 5:27 remaining by beating the possession clock with her third goal of the game.

Paige Crandall (Adams, N.Y./South Jefferson) registered seven saves, including three in the fourth quarter, to earn the victory between the pipes. Senior defender
Savannah Fish (Adams Center, N.Y./South Jefferson) registered three caused turnovers and three ground balls to lead the defense.
Le Moyne (2-0) is back home next Wednesday against Daemen University.
