Atlanta, Ga. – Le Moyne senior guard
Lytoya Baker has earned 2023 WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches' All-America Honorable Mention recognition per the WBCA DII Awards press release.
The last Le Moyne player to earn All-America recognition was McKayla Roberts, who received WBCA All-American Honorable Mention in 2018-19, and again in 2019-20.
Baker tallied 16 double-doubles for the Dolphins in 2022-23, which is the 12
th most among DII players.
Baker finished the season with the ninth best rebounding average in the nation, having pulled down 10.7 boards per game for the 'Phins.
The Rochester, New York native also provided 12.8 points, 2.8 assists and 2.0 steals per game to help lead the Dolphins to an NE10 regular season title, the no. 1 seed in the conference tournament, as well as the program's fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Championships.
Baker has now received the following honors for her play during the 2022-23 campaign:
- WBCA All-America Honorable Mention
- D2CCA All-East Region First Team
- NE10 First Team All-Conference
- NE10 Defensive Player of the Year
- NE10 All-Defensive Team
Baker will return for another season on The Heights in 2023-24.
