Syracuse, N.Y. – Graduate student attacker
Sara Goodwin (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker/Virginia Tech) registered a career-high eight points to lead the fifth-ranked Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 19-10 victory over Franklin Pierce University in Northeast-10 Conference action at Ted Grant Field.

Rhonee Shea Pal had six huge draw controls, (Sara) Goodwin dominated on the offense end and Lilly (Locastro) and Taylor (Reich) were incredibly scrappy on the defensive end. Great team win!"
The teams traded goals over the opening three and one-half minutes. Goodwin started the scoring just 43 seconds into the contest. Just under two minutes later, Olivia DeLonais scored her fifth goal of the season off a pass from Maura Cogavin to tie the score. Graduate student midfielder
Katelyn Karleski (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill/Onondaga C.C.) answered back 30 seconds later to put the Dolphins back in front for good.

Jessica Meneilly (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) capped the scoring in the quarter with 1:52 remaining after collecting a feed from Goodwin.
Le Moyne scored eight times over the first 10 minutes of the second quarter, including four in the first 1:22, to take its first double-digit lead of the game. Junior midfielder
Rhonee Shea Pal (Canastota, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) won the opening draw of the quarter and raced up field before flipping a pass to Meneilly for her 18th goal of the year just 13 seconds into the period. Goodwin followed 16 seconds later with her career-best 18th goal of the season. Karleski netted her eighth goal of the campaign 15 seconds later off a dish from junior attacker
Sarah Hutchings (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus). Sophomore attacker
Grace Detor (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) capped the outburst 38 seconds later with her sixth goal of the season. Just over two minutes later, junior defender
Lilly Locastro (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) scored in transition off a dish from Detor.
Another three minutes later, Goodwin converted a free-position shot for her third goal of the game. She followed 39 seconds later with her 20th goal of the season after taking a pass in an extra-player situation from freshman midfielder
Izzy Difato (Jacksonville, N.Y./Bartram Trail). Goodwin completed the run with another extra-player goal with 5:21 left off a feed from Detor.
Franklin Pierce answered back with a pair of goals in a span of 25 seconds. Katelyn Hadden converted a free-position shot with 2:48 left to snap Le Moyne's 10-0 run. DeLonais followed with an unassisted tally to make it 11-3.
Meneilly put the Dolphins up 12-3 at halftime with her third goal of the game at the 1:37 mark off a pass from Goodwin.
Le Moyne opened the scoring in the third quarter at the 13:49 mark on Pal's third goal of the year.
The Ravens cut their deficit to just six with four goals in a span of only 2:16. Kayli Hoefs started the stretch by converting a free-position shot with 10:16 left for her 14th goal of the season. Olivia Robb then scored her first goal of the season 45 seconds later. Gabrielle Oswald followed with her ninth goal of the year off a dish from Hadden with 8:54 to go. Hadden made it 13-7 with 8:00 left with her 15th goal of the season to force a Le Moyne timeout.
Following a drought of 11:30, Meneilly finished off a pass from Karleski in transition for her 20th goal of the campaign.
DeLonais answered back just 16 seconds later off a pass from Oswald.
Goodwin completed the scoring in the quarter with 48 seconds left after collecting a feed in transition from Hutchings for her sixth goal of the game. She is the first Dolphin to record eight points in a game since Nicole Delany on April 6, 2019 at Saint Anselm.
Le Moyne scored the first two goals of the fourth quarter to push its lead back to nine. Detor fired home a free-position shot with 10:53 left for her seventh goal of the season. Pal then scored two and one-half minutes later for a 17-8 advantage.
The Ravens countered with a pair of goals in a stretch of just 44 seconds. Hoefs netted her second goal of the game at the 6:58 mark on a free-position shot. Hadden then scored her third goal of the contest with 6:14 remaining.
The Dolphins netted the final two goals of the game to deliver the final margin. Detor capped her hat trick with another free-position goal with 3:53 remaining. Meneilly finished off the game's scoring with 1:14 left after taking a feed from Hutchings. With the goal, Meneilly passed Rebekah Elmer '11 for 14th on the program's career points list with her 171st.
Sophomore
Emma Regan (Frederick, Md./Urbana) earned her first career win between the pipes after making five saves in her first collegiate start. Saige Paradise took the loss for the Ravens after yielding 11 goals over 24:39 of action.
Le Moyne (5-1, 1-0 NE10) returns to action on Saturday at third-ranked Pace University at 1:00 p.m. The Dolphins will be taking on a top-five conference opponent other than Adelphi University for the first time since March 19, 2015 at fourth-ranked New Haven.
