Syracuse, N.Y. – Kevin Sheehan's behind-the-back goal in the first quarter of the No. 1 Le Moyne men's lacrosse team's 12-10 win over No. 18 Bentley University at Ted Grant Field on Tuesday is the Le Moyne College Play of the Week, presented by Sodexo, for the week ending on April 16.

The undefeated Dolphins held a 3-2 lead against the visiting Falcons with just over five minutes remaining in the first quarter when senior midfielder Joel Firth (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) attacked his defender on the right side of the field and sent a pass to junior attackman Joey Pezzimenti (Victor, N.Y./Victor/UAlbany) behind the goal.

Pezzimenti looked in front of him and immediately sent a pass to an open Sheehan. Sheehan was moving to his left as a Bentley defender quickly closed him down, then in a flash he turned his back completely towards goal as he swung his stick over his left shoulder and sent a shot flying past the goalie and into the net to double his team's lead.

Sheehan finished the contest with three goals and a season-high two assists as the top-ranked Dolphins improved to 6-0 in NE10 play.

The Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team, which improved to 11-0 this season after a 13-4 win at American International on April 14, will return to action on Wednesday when they host The College of Saint Rose for a 4:00 p.m. NE10 battle at Ted Grant Field.
