Syracuse, N.Y. – A game-winning goal scored by redshirt sophomore Vito Kreuzpaintner (Munich, Bavaria, Germany/FOS Nord/UNC Wilmington) against Mercyhurst has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.
 


The Dolphins and Lakers were tied with just over 20 minutes remaining in the game, as neither side were able to break the deadlock. Le Moyne earned a throw in near midfield, quickly putting the ball back into play.
 
After Kreuzpaintner caused a turnover by the Lakers, redshirt sophomore forward Felix Ludemann (Wrestedt, Germany/Herzog-Ernst-Gymnasium Uelzen) one-touched the loose ball up the middle of the field in front of Kreuzpaintner, who ran onto the ball, side-stepped a defender and fired a shot into the middle of the net at the 69:51 mark for his first goal of the season and the fourth of his career.
 
The Dolphins are back in action Thursday night against New Haven, with action scheduled to kickoff at 7:00 P.M.
