Syracuse, N.Y. – A glancing header into the top left corner by
Danielle Casey against Chicago State has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.

With around 4:15 left in the 1
st half, Le Moyne earned its fourth corner of the half, which was taken by senior midfielder
Jadyn Kantak (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker). Kantak had already registered an assist on the 'Phins first goal, which was off another corner kick scored by junior midfielder
Giovanna Vigliotti (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) in the 20
th minute.

Kantak played her cross into the box, which was met by graduate student midfielder
Danielle Casey (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa), beating her defender to the ball. Casey quickly flicked her head, redirecting the cross into the top left corner to give the Dolphins a 2-1 advantage just before halftime.

Le Moyne and Chicago State went on to tie the game 2-2 at the end of regulation. The 'Phins are back in action Thursday, as they travel to Delaware State for the second conference game of the season. Action is scheduled to kick off at 5:00 P.M.
