"Tonight's game was a very good test for our group, against a quality opponent in Binghamton," said Le Moyne head coach
Jaro Zawislan. "We definitely were challenged by Binghamton, there are a lot of things we are going to take out of this game, and we'll have to improve on quite a few things on both sides of the ball. But that's what the out of conference games are for early in the season. We need to keep finding out about ourselves, about the things we are doing well, and keep building on the positives. Being tested by quality teams like Binghamton gives us the opportunity to improve on certain aspects of play as we approach conference play in the middle of September. We are going to have a video session tomorrow, and get a good training session on the field in preparation for our historic home opener, the first home game in the NCAA Division I history of this women's soccer program. So, we look forward to hosting a good University of Rhode Island team. We expect a great event on Sunday. We look forward to the soccer community and the student body here at Le Moyne College supporting our women's soccer team, and from our point of view we can assure fans that we are going to do everything we can to provide a good, entertaining game on Sunday afternoon," Zawislan added.

Sydney Wells (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) made her season debut and played 27 minutes during the match, while junior forward
