"Senior day is always fun and emotional" said head coach
Adam Zaczkowski '04. "These seniors really had everything thrown at them over the past four years. School closures, athletic restrictions, coaching change and a reclassification. They persevered through it all and we proud of what they have done. Our women really swam well tonight. Coming off of winter training and a training trip to Florida and only two days recovery, they put the pedal to the metal and took care of an up and coming Adelphi team. We knew the men's meet was going to be close. We battled with them at the ECAC meet in December and knew it would take our best. The 200 Free, 200 IM and 500 free were all close finishes, with us ending up on the short side. Even with all that and a mid-meet injury, to only come up 7 points short means we are ready to be excellent at NECs in February."
For the men, Adelphi took the victory with 122 points, and Le Moyne finished with 115.
For the women, Le Moyne took the victory with 153 points, and Adelphi finished with 77.
