Bridgewater, N.J. – Lytoya Baker (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) has been named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week, as well as an NEC Prime Performer for week eight of the women's basketball season.

Baker has now claimed the conference's weekly award twice this season, and she has been named a Prime Performer on five different occasions.

During Thursday's game at University of Pittsburgh, Baker tallied her fifth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds to go along with four assists, two blocks and a steal in 35 minutes played.

Le Moyne returned home to take on Princeton University on Sunday, and Baker provided eight points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in 37 minutes of action.

The fifth-year guard currently leads all Northeast Conference players in rebounding average (8.2) and double-doubles (5). The next highest total of double-doubles by an NEC player this season is two.

Baker and the Dolphins will begin Northeast Conference play on Saturday at home against FDU.
