Syracuse, N.Y. – Junior diver Patrick Scott (Utica, N.Y. / New Hartford / Niagara) and freshman swimmer Lucas Clay (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) have been named Northeast Conference (NEC) Men's Swimming and Diving Weekly Award winners for their performances during Le Moyne's home meet against St. Bonaventure on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Scott was named the NEC Men's Diver of the Week after placing third in both the one-meter dive with a score of 248.75 and the three-meter dive with a final score of 233.60. The mark in the three-meter was Scott's season-best after recording a 167.15 at the Colgate Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Clay was named a NEC Men's Prime Performer for the second time this season after taking the top spot in the 100-yard breaststroke, setting a new pool record with a time of 58.11. Clay also finished third in the 200-yard individual medley (1:59.50) and was part of the 200-yard medley relay which took second place with a time of 1:35.94.
Looking forward, the Dolphins will now travel to Hamilton, N.Y. to take on Colgate University on Friday, Oct. 25 at 5:00 P.M.
