Syracuse N.Y. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team wrapped up their season slate against NEC opponent FDU at home on Saturday afternoon. The Knights swept the Dolphins in three sets, 25-22, 25-20, 25-19, sending Le Moyne to 1-13 overall and 0-2 in NEC play.
For Le Moyne, sophomore opposite hitter Branwyn Lupton (Napanee, O.N. / Napanee District Secondary School) led with seven kills while freshman outside hitters Denali Louden (Murrieta, C.A. / Murrieta Mesa), Jordyn Hamlin (Manahawkin, N.J. / Southern Regional), and Nina Salas (Austin, T.X. / McNeil) each added another six. Junior setter Haley Gerken (Buffalo, N.Y. / Frontier) led the 'Phins with 18 assists and three service aces. On defense, libero/DS Haley Buescher (Toledo, O.H. / St. Ursula Academy) put up a team-high 13 digs while freshman middle hitter Anaya Rawlinson (Whitby, O.N. / Sinclair Secondary School) added four block assists against the Knights.
For FDU, Eleonora Tosi and Kylie Nott tied for the team-high in kills with seven apiece. Hannah Schmidt (16) and Megan Bushnell (10) each tallied double-digit assists to aid the offense, as well. Defensively, Emily Van O'Linda recorded 15 digs while Nott led with five block assists in the win.

The Dolphins will remain at home to begin another two-game conference series against Stonehill College on Friday, Oct. 11 at 6:00 P.M.
