Teaneck, N.J. – The top-seeded FDU Knights scored three-second half goals to erase a two-goal halftime deficit and claim a 3-2 win over the fourth-seeded Le Moyne men's soccer team in the semifinals of the 2024 NEC Tournament Thursday evening at FDU's University Stadium.

Jack Goodrich, each scored less than three minutes apart early in the first half to give the Dolphins a 2-0 lead.
In the 12
th minute the Dolphins forced a turnover in their offensive third, and Abdul-Malak received a pass in the right side of the FDU penalty area. Despite being surrounded by FDU defenders, Abdul-Malak was able to place a powerful right-footed shot into the bottom left corner of the goal to break the tie and put the Dolphins in front.

th minute, Le Moyne freshman forward
Rhys Allport got behind the FDU defense via a pass from Abdul-Malak and was fouled just outside the penalty area.
Goodrich, the NEC Defensive Player of the Year, took the free kick for Le Moyne and curled a left-footed shot into the top right corner to double Le Moyne's lead.
The goals were the fifth of the season for both Abdul-Malak and Goodrich.

Wyatt Dupell saved a shot from FDU's Luke Ayaz in the 34
th minute to help Le Moyne carry their 2-0 lead into halftime.
Dupell made two saves in the first 11 minutes of the second half, but FDU cut its deficit in half when Alex Kryazhev redirected a cross from Ayaz into the back of the Le Moyne net in the 64
th minute.
FDU tied the game in the 79
th minute with another goal from Kryazhev, then Harrison Hew found the back of the net two minutes later to put the Knights in front, 3-2.
FDU prevented the Dolphins from recording a shot in the final 10 minutes to secure the win at home and advance to the NEC Championship game Sunday against third-seeded LIU.
Le Moyne concludes the 2024 campaign with a 7-6-4 record, including 4-3-1 in conference play.
The Dolphins have appeared in the NEC Tournament in their first two seasons in the conference, and have qualified for their conference postseason in 23 consecutive seasons.
