Freshman guard AJ Dancler (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport) then made a free throw for a 12-5 lead with 15:24 remaining in the first half.

The Skyhawks got three-pointers from Zegarowski and Louie Semona to trim their deficit to one, but Sutherland had a put-back dunk and Dancler followed by scoring in the paint in transition and then drilling a three-pointer with both baskets assisted by Sutherland.

After the teams traded baskets over the next four minutes, the Dolphins ran off 11 straight points to open up a 34-18 lead with 4:57 until halftime. The Skyhawks put together a pair of 5-0 spurts around back-to-back Le Moyne three-pointers to close within 40-28 at halftime. Felder connected on a three-pointer in each spurt.

After Zegarowski opened the second half with a three-pointer, Salter answered with one of his own and then graduate student guard Nate McClure (Houston, Texas/Concordia Lutheran/Texas State/State Fair C.C./IUPUI) scored in the paint in transition off a steal.

Felder's third three-pointer of the game got the Skyhawks within nine with 16:58 remaining before the teams alternated points over the next 4:30, resulting in a 58-45 Le Moyne lead.

The Skyhawks rattled off the next 13 points to even the score at 58. Zegarowski ignited the run with a three-pointer, Brogna made a lay-up, Abrams hit a jumper, Brogna had a dunk, Abrams drained a three-pointer and then Semona made a foul shot with 7:28 left to tie the score.
