Bridgewater, N.J. – Le Moyne College senior Lilly Locastro (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) has been named the Northeast Conference women's lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
 
Locastro earns the honor for the second consecutive week. She tallied four caused turnovers and a career-high seven ground balls in a 17-4 loss to Cornell on Tuesday.

Through two games, she has nine caused turnovers and 10 ground balls. She leads the NEC in both categories. She is tied for first nationally in ground balls per game and is second in caused turnovers per game.
 
The Dolphins are back in action on Wednesday at Niagara University at 3:00 p.m. The contest is available on ESPN+ and the ESPN app. The Dolphins are 13-3 all-time against the Purple Eagles, including wins in 10 of the last 11 meetings, dating back to their time together in the MAAC.
