Ebensburg, Pa. – The Le Moyne College women's tennis team suffered its first Northeast Conference loss on Sunday, 7-0, to Saint Francis University at the Ebensburg Tennis Center.

In the closest match of the singles competition, Zuba rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 win over sophomore
Paula Casares (A Coruna, Spain/Colegio Maristas Cristo Rey) at the first position. Mangan tallied a 6-4, 6-1 win at the second spot over Fernando, while Jankovic was a 6-3, 6-4 winner over Raiss at the third position. Kadzinski turned in a 6-3, 7-5 victory at the fourth spot over Alvarez. Dowuona recorded back-to-back 6-2 wins over Barona at the fifth position, while Vinces posted a 6-4, 6-1 win at the sixth spot over Simeonova.
Le Moyne (2-3, 1-1 NEC) is back on the courts on Saturday at FDU at 8:30 p.m. at the Bogota Racquet Club in Bogota, N.J.
