SLU right-handed starting pitcher Jackson Holmes improved to 3-0 this season after limiting the Dolphins to four hits, zero walks and zero runs with eight strikeouts in 8.0 innings of work.
Right-hander Jackson Yarberry got the final three outs for Saint Louis without allowing a base runner.
Le Moyne left-handed starting pitcher
Jacob Crystal (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) went 7.0 innings for the second time in his career, allowing eight hits, one walk and one earned run with five strikeouts.

Dewey Roden (Sherrill, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill/UMass Lowell) added a base hit.
Saint Louis led 2-0 after six innings, then Nevins led off the top of the seventh with a single to center field. With one out in the inning, Roden singled through the right side, advancing Nevins to third. Holmes then retired the next two Le Moyne hitters to strand both runners on base and maintain the shutout.
