St. Bonaventure, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College baseball team (6-13, 3-5 NEC) will take on St. Bonaventure University (8-11, 0-0 A10) on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in non-conference action.

The contest will be the home opener for the Bonnies at Handler Park. The game will be broadcast live on the Bonnies Online Network with a radio play-by-play.

St. Bonaventure most recently recorded a 9-7 win at Penn State on March 19, then had a weekend doubleheader at Rhode Island canceled due to weather. Prior to the midweek matchup at Penn State, St. Bonaventure took three of four games during a weekend series at Mount St. Mary's.

Le Moyne was scheduled to play its first home series this past weekend against FDU, but due to weather the two sides had to cancel the opening game of the three-game series and play a doubleheader on Sunday at FDU's field in Teaneck. The Dolphins and the Knights split the Northeast Conference doubleheader, with Le Moyne taking game one, 4-2, and FDU prevailing in the second half of the doubleheader by a score of 8-4.

During the win over FDU, senior left-handed starting pitcher Max Parker (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) allowed just one earned run, two walks and six hits with six strikeouts in 8.0 innings of work to earn the win, then freshman right-hander Billy Canale (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) got the final three outs without allowing a run to record his second save of the season.

Adam Sullivan (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus) and Brady Fureno (Canajoharie, N.Y./Fort Plain) both provided two RBI during the win, while Zach Brush (New York Mills, N.Y./Utica Notre Dame) delivered two hits and a run scored. Fureno hammered his second home run of the season in the top of the eighth to give the Dolphins a 4-2 lead.

Tuesday will mark the second midweek game for the Dolphins this season. Le Moyne suffered an 11-2 loss at Bucknell on March 5.

So far this season, Sullivan leads the Dolphins in runs scored with 13, Nick Nevins (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Roy C. Ketcham) leads the team in hits (24) and extra-base hits with seven doubles and two home runs, while Brody Keneston (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) has driven in a team-leading 19 runs.

Outfielder Adam Rankie and middle infielder David Marshall Jr. have each recorded a team-best 17 RBI for the Bonnies so far this season. Rankie also leads the team in runs (19), hits (28) and doubles (9), while third baseman Jack Putney has launched a team-leading five home runs through 18 starts.

Right-handed starting pitcher Michael Salina has recorded a team-high 19 strikeouts for St. Bonaventure with two complete games, while righty Chance Moore leads the staff in innings pitched with 25.1. The Bonnies are led by second-year head coach Jason Rathbun.

Le Moyne Assistant Vice President of Athletics & Recreation Bob Beretta is a four-time letter winner and three-time captain of the St. Bonaventure baseball team.

Le Moyne holds a 9-7 record all-time against the Bonnies between 1988 and 2010. During the most recent meetings between the two programs on April 6, 2010, Le Moyne swept a doubleheader against St. Bonaventure in Olean.
