Syracuse, N.Y. – Graduate first baseman
Dewey Roden (Sherrill, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) recorded his second multi-home run game of the season on Sunday, but the Le Moyne baseball team fell to the Merrimack College Warriors by a score of 11-7 at Dick Rockwell Field in the finale of a three-game NEC series.
Roden hammered a two-run home run during the third inning to trim Le Moyne's deficit to 6-4, then he smashed a solo shot in the ninth and finished the contest 3-for-4 at the plate with three runs and three RBIs.

Nick Nevins (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Roy C. Ketcham),
Brady Fureno (Canajoharie, N.Y./Fort Plain) and
Jason Boule (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) each also homered for Le Moyne during the setback.
Third baseman Dawson Bryce, first baseman Braydon Dolbashian, catcher Matthew Chatelle, and shortstop Cavan Brady each homered for Merrimack, which completed a sweep of the Dolphins and clinched a spot in the NEC Tournament with the win on Sunday.
Bryce lifted a solo home run over the left field wall in the top of the first to score the first run of the game, then Chatelle launched a grand slam in the third to make it 6-2 in favor of the Warriors.
After Boule drove a solo home run to center field in the fifth, making it a 7-5 game, Dolbashian smacked a two-run home run in the sixth to give Merrimack a 9-5 advantage.
Merrimack starting pitcher Brayden Ryan tallied five strikeouts with three hits, three walks and five runs allowed in 4.1 innings, then left-hander Tyghe Healy was credited with the win after allowing one hit, zero runs and zero walks with a strikeout in 1.0 inning in relief.

Billy Hoffacker (Erial, N.J./Timber Creek/Rowan College of South Jersey) pitched the ninth inning for the 'Phins.
The Le Moyne baseball team will play its final home game of the season on Tuesday against UAlbany at 3 p.m.
The Dolphins will then play their final NEC series next weekend at Norfolk State.
