Philadelphia, P.A. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team finished out the Penn Invitational with a match against the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday morning. The Quakers took all three sets to win the match with set scores of; 25-14, 25-17, 25-19 bringing the Dolphins record to 1-5 on the season.
For Le Moyne, freshman outside hitter Denali Louden (Murrieta, C.A. / Murrieta Mesa) led the squad in both kills and digs, tallying 10 of each. Freshman outside hitter Jordyn Hamlin (Manahawkin, N.J. / Southern Regional) recorded eight kills and five digs, while freshman outside hitter/DS Nina Salas (Austin, T.X. / McNeil) notched seven kills, as well. Junior setter Haley Gerken (Buffalo, N.Y. / Frontier) led the offense with 22 assists while freshman setter Skylar Jehlen (Rochester, N.Y. / Churchville-Chili) and freshman libero/DS Brooke Menke (St. Louis M.O. / Visitation Academy) each tallied seven digs against the Quakers. Junior middle hitter Kayla Anstett (Rochester, N.Y. / Hilton) and freshman middle hitter Anaya Rawlinson (Whitby, O.N. / Sinclair Secondary School) each recorded one block solo while sophomore opposite/middle hitter Branwyn Lupton (Napanee, O.N. / Napanee District Secondary School) and junior middle hitter Nil Ezgi Tasdelen (Izmir, Turkey / Ugur Okullari) each notched one block assist.
For Penn, Zada Sanger recorded the team-high in kills with eight while Jalen Tennyson, Bella Rittenberg, Jenna Garner, and Adell Murray followed behind with seven kills each. Emery Moore led with 22 assists against the Dolphins while Anna Shohfi put up a team-high 10 digs in the win. Tennyson also led the Quakers with two block solos and six block assists.

The Dolphins will return to New York and travel across town to take on Syracuse on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6:00 P.M.
