Buffalo, N.Y. - The Le Moyne College women's soccer team were defeated in its final non-conference game of the season on Wednesday afternoon.

The Dolphins made two changes from their starting lineup against Binghamton, which saw a season debut for sophomore goalkeeper Ainsley Napolitano (Andover, Mass./Andover) and a return to the starting XI for freshman outside back Mallory Pietrzak (Rochester, N.Y./Penfield).

Within the first two minutes of action, Napolitano was called into action making her first save of the game. Canisius scored their first goal of the game five minutes later as junior defender Meghan Heath scored off of a corner taken by senior defender Erin Weir. Just over a minute after, the Golden Griffins would add their second goal scored by sophomore midfielder Jessica Whitaker.

Sophomore defender Maria Komala (Warsaw, Poland/Notre Dame College) entered the game eleven minutes after Ullman in the 22nd minute.

Canisius came close to adding its third goal of the game, hitting the crossbar in the 25th minute of play before making seven changes to its lineup. In the ensuing minutes of action, Napolitano added two saves to her tally.
