Bridgewater, N.J. – Le Moyne College freshman Carlo Zucchini (Varese, Italy/European School of Varese) has been named the NEC men's tennis Rookie of the Month, as announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon.

Zucchini, who is the second Dolphin to earn rookie of the month honors this year following classmate Gabriel Segubiense for September, went 7-2 between singles (4-1) and doubles (3-1) action during October. At the ITA New England Regional, he recorded a singles win over a foe from Boston University before falling to an opponent from Brown.

At the Colgate Invitational, he went 3-0 in singles action with victories over three different opponents from Colgate to win the "A" flight. He teamed with sophomore Luke Hoyland to win the doubles "A" flight at the Colgate Invite with victories over teams from Colgate and Siena before defeating teammate Emmanuel Cottle and Adrian Daniel in the final.

The Dolphins return to action in the Spring semester with their dual match schedule.
