The 2026 campaign features 51 contests, including 32 on the road, 19 at home, 18 non-conference matchups and 11 NEC three-game series.

The Dolphins will kickoff 20 straight road games with a three-game series spanning February 13-15 at Tarleton State University, which went 24-32 last year (its fifth at the Division I level), including 12-12 in the WAC to earn the sixth seed in the conference tournament.

The team will head to Harrisonburg, Virginia the following weekend to take on James Madison University, which went 17-38 last year, including 10-20 in the Sun Belt Conference, and then will close out February and start March at defending ACC champion University of North Carolina, which went 46-15 last year, including 18-11 in the ACC, earned the fifth seed in the NCAA Championship and advanced to a Super Regional. The Dolphins are 2-6 all-time against James Madison and 2-4 against the Tar Heels.

The Dolphins begin NEC play on Friday, March 6 with a three-game series at Delaware State University, which went 7-34 last year, including 6-24 in NEC play. They then head to NEC-newcomer and former NE10 rival University of New Haven March 13-15.

Two days later, the team heads to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania for a non-conference game at Bucknell University, which went 18-27 last year, including 10-15 in the Patriot League.

The Dolphins follow with a three-game series March 20-22 at Wagner College, which went 31-22 in 2025, including 23-7 in NEC action to earn the second seed in the NEC Championship.

The 'Phins conclude their season-opening road stretch on Tuesday the 24th at defending America East Conference champion Binghamton University, which went 29-26 last year, including 13-11 in America East games to earn the third seed.

Le Moyne plays its home opener on Friday the 27th for the start of a three-game series with Coppin State University, which went 15-34 last year, including 13-17 in NEC action.

The Dolphins close out March with a non-conference matchup at Canisius University, which went 14-31 last year, including 10-19 in the MAAC, on Tuesday the 31s and then begin April with a three-game NEC series at defending NEC regular season champion LIU, which finished 2025 with a 35-23 record, including 24-6 in NEC play, from Thursday the 2nd through Saturday the 4th.

The 'Phins will play their next nine games at the friendly confines of Dick Rockwell Field. The homestand begins on Tuesday the 7th with a non-conference matchup against Siena University, which went 22-32 last year, including 17-13 in the MAAC to earn the fourth seed in the conference tournament. On Friday the 10th, Mercyhurst University, which went 17-35 in its first season of Division I competition, including 15-15 in NEC play, makes its debut on the Heights for the start of a three-game series. St. Bonaventure University, which went 20-29 last year, including 11-19 in the Atlantic 10, comes to town on Tuesday the 14th for an out-of-conference contest. FDU, which went 16-37, including 16-14 in NEC action, follows with an NEC series Friday the 17th through Sunday the 19th. The homestand concludes on Tuesday the 21st with a visit from Canisius.

The Dolphins head to Norfolk State University (4-38, 4-26) for a three-game NEC series beginning on Friday the 24th.

The 'Phins wrap up play in April at home against Binghamton on Tuesday the 28th.

The Dolphins are at home for six of their first seven May matchups. They host Stonehill (20-32), which edged Le Moyne for the final NEC Championships berth with an 18-12 league record, for a three-game NEC series Friday the 1st through Sunday the 3rd. After heading to Niagara University, which went 19-28 last year, including 14-16 in the MAAC to claim the eighth seed, for a non-conference matchup on Tuesday the 5th, the Dolphins wrap up their home slate Friday the 8th through Sunday the 10th with an NEC series against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, which went 7-41, including 6-24 in league action.

Following their final non-conference affair of the regular season on Tuesday the 12th at the University at Albany, which went 22-32 last season, including 10-14 in the America East to claim the fifth seed in the conference championship, the Dolphins close out their NEC schedule at defending NEC champion Central Connecticut State University (31-17, 23-7 NEC) from Thursday the 14th through Saturday the 16th.

The four-team NEC Championship is slated for May 21-24 in Augusta, New Jersey at Skylands Stadium, the home of the Frontier League's Sussex County Miners. Should Le Moyne or Mercyhurst win the NEC Tournament championship, the tournament runner-up will advance to the NCAA Tournament as the NEC's automatic qualifier as per current policy, while if Le Moyne and Mercyhurst both reach the championship game, the NEC will stage an "AQ Qualifier" game between the two non-advancing semifinal teams. This will serve as a decisive game to determine the team that will secure the NEC's spot in the NCAA Tournament. During its NCAA reclassification, New Haven will become eligible to compete in the NEC postseason in 2026-27 or 2027-28.

The Dolphins return 25 letterwinners, including seven starting position players and one starting pitchers, from last year's 20-28 squad, which went 17-13 in NEC action and missed the NEC Championship by just one game, while adding seven freshmen and two transfers.
