Senior guard Sierra Linnin (Valley Cottage, N.Y. / Albertus Magnus), junior forward Ashley Buragas (Hopewell Junction, N.Y. / John Jay / Mineral Area College), and sophomore guard Eli Clark (Oakhurst, N.J. / Ocean Township) all tied to lead Le Moyne with eight points. Linnin and E. Clark each shot 2-4 from behind the arc with the former adding two free throws, one rebound, and one steal while the latter registered one more bucket, one board, and two assists. Buragas went 3-8 from the field with three rebounds, one assist, and one block.

Clark recording a team-high four rebounds, one assist, and one block.

Junior forward Sydney Postell (Churchville, N.Y. / Churchville-Chili) tied E. Clark for the team-lead in assists with two while redshirt sophomore guard Amya McLeod (Rome, N.Y. / Rome Free Academy / Youngstown State) led with two steals in the loss.

The Golden Eagles put together a quick 7-0 lead in the first quarter before Buragas recorded the Dolphins' first six points on a pair of free throws, a layup, and a jumper. Two layups from K. Clark and a jumper from E. Clark rounded out Le Moyne's scoring in the first as Marquette took a 24-12 lead into the first break.

The Dolphins allowed the first nine points of the second frame through nearly four minutes before a three from Linnin got Le Moyne back on the board. Another three from Linnin and one more from junior guard Jessica Wangolo (Ottawa, O.N. / Capital Courts Academy / Buffalo) brought the team back within 20 of Marquette before the hosts went on a 9-2 run to close out the first half leading, 49-23.

The teams traded a pair of threes to open the third quarter before Marquette went on another run, this time 7-0, before Buragas tipped in a bucket and K. Clark made a layup in the paint. Johnson added the first two made three-pointers of her career on back-to-back possessions in the middle of the frame before the quarter closed on back-to-back threes from E. Clark and Meulemans.

The Golden Eagles opened the final quarter of play with a 68-40 lead and only allowed the first two points on a pair of made shots from the line by Linnin before holding the Dolphins scoreless the rest of the game.
