WILLIAMS EARNS PODIUM FINISH AND MEN'S RELAY SETS PROGRAM RECORD AT DAY TWO OF SWIM & DIVE NEC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Geneva, O.H. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's swimming and diving teams continued their trip at the Northeast Conference Championships on Thursday night with the women's squad rounding out day two in sixth place with 106 points and the men sitting in fourth with 189 points. 

Women's Squad:
Freshman Gabby Williams (Scotia, N.Y./Scotia-Glenville) placed third in the one-meter dive with a final score of 217.30, earning her a spot on the awards podium.

Junior Riley Brennen (New Hartford, N.Y./New Hartford) earned ninth place with a score of 154.95 in the one-meter dive, as well.

Men's Team:
Freshman Lucas Clay (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) placed fifth in the 500-yard freestyle with a final time of 4:39.73. Fellow freshman Andrew Hartman (Slingerlands, N.Y./Bethlehem) followed in 10th place with a time of 4:47.77, respectively. 

Freshman Alexander Pilieci (Ottawa, O.N./John McCrae) took the 10th spot in the 200-yard IM, coming in at the 1:54.19 mark.

Freshman Nolan Carner (Weedsport, N.Y./Weedsport) earned eighth in the 50-yard freestyle with a final time of 21.35.

The relay team of Carner, sophomore Justin Enser (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton), junior Xavier Silaika (Rexford, N.Y./Shenendehowa), and freshman Michael White Jr. (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) finished fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay, setting a program record with a final time of 1:23.37 to close out day two.
