Hamilton, N.Y. – Caroline Panzirer recorded six points to lead Colgate University to a 16-3 victory over the Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team on Wednesday evening at Crown Field at Andy Kerr Stadium.
The Raiders, who improve to 3-0 against the Dolphins, scored all six of the first quarter's goals. Ella Bishara got the scoring started just 31 seconds into the game with her fourth tally of the season. Panzirer followed 68 seconds later with her eighth goal of the year. Lucy Licata made it 3-0 with 10:42 left off a dish from Panzirer. Just 42 seconds later, Aubrey McMahon recorded her sixth goal of the campaign. Panzirer netted her second goal of the quarter with 7:15 to go off a feed from Licata. McMahon converted a free-position shot with 1:03 left to cap the scoring in the period.
Colgate added three goals in the second quarter. Licata started the scoring at the 12:04 off a free-position shot for her 11th goal of the season. Panzirer posted her 10th goal of the year with 10:28 to go. Gracie DeSimone tallied her fourth goal of the year with 7:17 remaining after receiving a pass from Grace DelNegro.

Emily Noel (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) scored her first goal of the season from the front of the crease off a feed from junior midfielder

The Raiders extended their lead to double figures for the first time with the next two goals. McMahon answered Le Moyne's goal just 35 seconds later. Olivia McDonald made it a 10-goal game with 10:33 left off a free-position shot.

Colgate scored the final goal of the third quarter and the first three of the fourth period to take its largest lead of the game. Panzirer ended the third period with her fourth goal of the game after taking a pass from McDonald with five seconds left. McMahon scored her fourth goal of the contest 1:04 into the fourth quarter. Panzirer completed her scoring with 10:10 left off a feed from McMahon. Lauren Thompson capped the run with her second goal of the season off a free-position shot with 8:16 to play.
Detor completed Le Moyne's scoring with 5:13 remaining in the game by finding the back of the net off a free-position shot.
Lucy Lederman closed out the game's scoring with 34 seconds remaining off a free-position shot.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Amanda Manfredi (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) registered 13 saves, including five in each of the first and third quarters, in the setback. Lauren Solis made one save in the win for the Raiders.
Le Moyne (0-3), which has been held to 12 goals over a three-game span for the first time in the program's history, is slated to play its first game at Ted Grant Field on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. against La Salle University.
