Syracuse, N.Y. – Senior attacker Reagan McQuade (Endwell, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) tallied four points to lead the Le Moyne College women's lacrosse team to a 9-5 victory over La Salle University on Saturday morning at Ted Grant Field.

McQuade got the scoring started just 1:47 into the contest with her second goal of the season after taking a pass from classmate Grace Detor (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee).

The Explorers scored the next two goals. Sam Klein (Cicero-North Syracuse) evened the score at one with 8:34 left with her fourth goal of the year after collecting a feed from Molly Maloney. Just over two minutes later, Jenna Pickard scored in an extra-player situation off a pass from Kate Licciardi for her first tally of the season.

McQuade knotted the score at two with 1:12 left in the quarter after receiving a feed from senior attacker Haley Emmick (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield).

Klein gave the lead back to La Salle with 10:28 remaining in the second quarter after taking a pass from Licciardi.

Following eight and one-half minutes of scoreless play, sophomore midfielder Maddi Barney (Lorraine, N.Y./South Jefferson) converted a free-position shot with 1:49 left to tie the score at three apiece.

After over nine minutes of scoreless action to start the third quarter, the Dolphins scored three times in 2:41 to take control of the game. Barney put the team in front for good at the 5:40 mark off a dish from McQuade. Just 96 seconds later, junior attacker Bella Sampo (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) tallied her second goal of the season on a breakaway. Freshman midfielder Carrie Bennett (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) netted her third goal of the campaign 65 seconds later off a feed from Detor.

The Explorers got one goal back before the end of the quarter as Alana Lathan scored her ninth goal of the year after taking a feed from Katie Johnson.
