WOMEN'S BASKETBALL DEFEATS CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE, 75-64

Syracuse, N.Y. – Graduate students Haedyn Roberts (Holland Patent, N.Y./Holland Patent) and Megan Bodziony (Wakefield, R.I./St. Andrew's School/Fordham/Bryant) combined for 36 points to lead the Le Moyne College women's basketball team to a 75-64 victory over the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils Thursday evening at Ted Grant Court.

Roberts registered 20 points, four rebounds and three assists to record her second consecutive 20-point game, and her fourth game with at least 20 points this season, while Bodziony tallied 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field and 3-of-4 from the line in addition to six rebounds and a season-high four assists in a team-high 35 minutes played.

The Dolphins shot a season-best 50% from three-point range, shooting 10-of-20 from beyond the arc, which is tied for the second-most threes made by the team in a game this season. Le Moyne went 17-of-22 from the line against the Blue Devils, and 24-of-51 from the field. Their .471 field goal percentage is the second-best mark in a game this season, and their best percentage recorded against a conference opponent.

Senior guard Emily Florvil (Brooklyn, N.Y./Nazareth) recorded eight points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in 24 minutes played off the bench, while sophomore forward Sydney Postell (Churchville, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) tied her season and career high of eight points with 2-of-2 shooting from three and 2-of-2 from the line in five minutes of action.

Junior guard Sierra Linnin (Valley Cottage, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) added two made threes and a season-high three steals to the Le Moyne cause.
