Syracuse, N.Y. – David Peterkin scored on all four shots he took to lead Hobart College to a 13-8 victory over the Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team on Tuesday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.
The Statesmen opened the game's scoring just 52 seconds into the contest as Cade Dino scored his 10th goal of the season after taking a pass from John Jude Considine.
Le Moyne answered back with two goals in a span of 64 seconds. Junior midfielder
Zack Crosby (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) knotted the score at one apiece at the 12:18 mark with his third goal of the season. Following a Hobart turnover, senior midfielder
Ryan Eisenmann (Boca Raton, Fla./Boca Raton) tallied his sixth goal of the season with 11:14 left after taking a feed from junior attackman

Hobart, which won last year's matchup in Geneva, 20-9, scored the final five goals of the quarter to take control of the game. Peterkin tied the score at two with 9:07 left off a pass from Will Delano. The duo connected again with 6:10 remaining. Delano dished out his third straight assist just 15 seconds later as Michael Schafer tallied his first goal of the season. Following Le Moyne's second straight failed clear, Considine recorded his seventh goal of the campaign with 4:37 left to force a Le Moyne timeout. Considine beat the quarter buzzer to give the Statesmen a 6-2 lead after taking a pass from Alex Rosa.
The Statesmen scored the first two goals of the second quarter to extend their run to seven straight goals to take an 8-2 lead. Following another failed clear by the Dolphins, Daniel Cano scored his third goal of the year with 12:48 left, which forced a Le Moyne timeout and goalie change. Hobart took advantage of another Le Moyne turnover on a clear attempt and Connor DiTomasso tallied his eighth goal of the year with 11:28 remaining.

Emmet McDermott (Pleasantville, N.Y./Pleasantville) scored his second goal of the season with 5:52 to go.
Johnny Harding pushed Hobart's lead back to six with his second goal of the season with 4:14 remaining.

Ethan Loun (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) closed out the scoring in the half with three seconds left with his fourth goal of the year.

Zachary Delaney (Syracuse, N.Y./Onondaga/Hobart) scored his seventh goal of the season at the 11:59 mark after collecting a pass from Eisenmann. Just over four minutes later, Eisenmann netted his seventh goal of the year after taking a feed from redshirt sophomore attackman

Following five and one-half minutes of scoreless play, during which time each team had four empty possessions, Peterkin tallied his third goal of the game with 2:21 left off another pass from Delano. Only 30 seconds later, Peterkin scored again after taking a feed from Dino.
The Dolphins scored the first two goals of the fourth quarter to once again get within three. Eisenmann scored the first of the two at the 12:58 mark. Just 51 seconds later, Crosby finished off a pass from Berry for his second goal of the game.
After almost six minutes of scoreless action, during which each team three empty possessions, Dino tallied his 11th goal of the year with 6:22 to play. Considine ended the game's scoring with 4:46 left off a pass from Dino.

Carter Ruhm (Apalachin, N.Y./Vestal/Bridgton Academy/Robert Morris) took the loss between the pipes after yielding seven goals against one save in 17:12 between the pipes. In his longest appearance of his career, sophomore goalkeeper
Lucas Winger (Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South) made 10 saves (against six goals) over 42:48. Elhanan Wilson recorded six saves to earn the win for the Statesmen.
