Jack Cannon (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) launched his first career home run and tallied a career-high six RBIs to lead the Le Moyne College baseball team to a 12-6 victory over the University of Massachusetts Lowell River Hawks in game three of a non-conference series Sunday at UML's LeLacheur Park.

AJ Petraitis (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) collected his second win of the season on the mound for Le Moyne after tossing 6.0 innings with five hits, three earned runs allowed and three strikeouts. Senior left-hander
Jacob Crystal (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) earned his first save of the season after limiting the River Hawks to two hits and two runs in the final 3.0 innings.
Cannon recorded a career-high three hits, including a three-run home run in the top of the fourth that gave the Dolphins a 4-1 lead, while freshman infielder
Tim Denet (West Harrison, N.Y./Iona Prep) scored a game-high three runs with a single and a double.

Cooper Romich (North Chili, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) and sophomore infielder
Mike Whelehan (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton) provided two hits and one stolen base each, while Romich and junior outfielder
Tyler Campbell (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill/Onondaga C.C.) scored two runs each.
The River Hawks won both games of Saturday's doubleheader to secure the series victory, but the Dolphins scored double-digit runs for the fourth time this season on Sunday to avoid the sweep.
Catcher Scott Donahue and center fielder Alex Luccini each smashed a home run for UMass Lowell during the loss, with Donahue and second baseman Joseph DeLanzo recording a team-high two RBIs each.
For the third consecutive game in the series, a run was scored in the first inning, as the River Hawks established a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first with a two-out, solo home run from Luccini.

Wyatt Patchett (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva) smashed a double to left-center field to give the Dolphins runners on second and third with zero outs.
Campbell crossed the plate following a failed pick-off attempt at second base, Denet reached safely, then with one out in the inning, Cannon lifted a three-run shot over the right field wall to put the Dolphins in front.
Following a pitching change, Romich singled through the right side, stole second base, and crossed the plate following a base hit to right field from Whelehan.
UML got two runs back in the bottom of the frame on a two-RBI single from DeLanzo.
With two outs and nobody on base in the top of the fifth, Denet ripped a double to right-center field, then junior infielder
Adam Sullivan (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus) brought him around to score with a single to right field. Cannon then drove in Sullivan with a base hit to right-center field to make it 7-3 in favor of the Dolphins.
UML third baseman Rowan Masse led off the bottom of the fifth with a walk, stole second with two outs, then came around to score following a single down the right field line from designated hitter Brandon Fish.
Le Moyne added three runs in the top of the sixth with the help of a two-RBI single from Cannon, which scored Campbell and Denet, increased Cannon's career-high RBI total to six, and extended Le Moyne's lead to 10-4.
In his final inning of work, Petraitis recorded a strikeout to begin the bottom of the sixth, then stranded a runner on third with a groundout to end the frame.
Donahue lifted a two-run home run for UML in the bottom of the seventh to trim their deficit to 10-6.
Crystal recorded a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout in the bottom of the eighth, then Le Moyne got both runs back in the top of the ninth. Romich led off the final inning with a double down the right field line, Whelehan moved him to third with a bunt single, sophomore infielder
Ethan Farina (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa/Saint Rose) drove in Romich with a bunt single, freshman designated hitter
Derek Diaz (White Plains, N.Y./Iona Prep) drew a walk to load the bases, and Patchett drove in Whelehan with a ground ball to the left side.
Crystal recorded another 1-2-3 inning in the bottom of the ninth to close out the win for Le Moyne.
The Le Moyne baseball team will play its first midweek non-conference game on Tuesday at Canisius University, then the Dolphins will play their first home games of the season when they host Norfolk State University for an NEC series at Dick Rockwell Field, with game one scheduled for Friday at 3:00 p.m.
