THE MATCHUP:
Le Moyne and FDU met for the first time this season on February 20 in Hackensack, with FDU claiming a 65-46 win over the Dolphins inside the Bogota Savings Bank Center. Junior guard Sierra Linnin (Valley Cottage, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) led the Dolphins in scoring with 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field, including 4-of-8 from three-point range, while rookie guard Ava Renninger, junior forward Lilly Parke, graduate guard Abaigeal Babore, and graduate forward Teneisia Brown each scored in double figures for the Knights, with Brown tallying 10 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and two steals, and Renninger providing a team-high 14 points.

FDU will travel to Syracuse having already clinched the NEC Regular Season Championship with a 15-0 conference record. The Knights will look to become just the seventh team in NEC history to record a perfect record against NEC competition with a win over the Dolphins on Thursday. Le Moyne, currently 6-9 in conference play, would clinch the No. 5 seed in the eight-team NEC Tournament with a win over FDU.

Thursday's contest will mark the fifth all-time meeting between Le Moyne and FDU in women's basketball. The Dolphins won all three games against the Knights last season, including a 52-38 win at Ted Grant Court in the 2024 NEC Tournament Semifinals.

DOLPHIN RUNDOWN:
Le Moyne most recently won back-to-back home games by double figures against LIU and Central Connecticut State before suffering a 65-61 setback last time out at Stonehill on March 1.

During the 83-53 win over LIU at Ted Grant Court on February 22, Le Moyne set new season-highs in points, field goals (27), steals (10) and margin of victory. Linnin and graduate forward Haedyn Roberts (Holland Patent, N.Y./Holland Patent) tallied 25 and 20 points, respectively, marking the second time this season that the duo has scored at least 20 points in the same game. Linnin also tied a single-game program record for the second time this season with seven made three-point field goals on 13 attempts.

During the 75-64 win over CCSU on February 27, the Dolphins shot a season-best 50% (10-of-20) from three-point range, and 47.1% (24-of-51) from the field, which marked their highest field goal percentage against a conference opponent this season. Roberts contributed 20 points, four rebounds and three assists during the win, while graduate guard Megan Bodziony (Wakefield, R.I./St. Andrew's School/Fordham/Bryant) tallied 16 points on 6-of-8 from the field, 1-of-1 from three and 3-of-4 from the free throw line with six rebounds and four assists in 35 minutes of action, and senior guard Emily Florvil (Brooklyn, N.Y./Nazareth) added eight points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals off the bench.

Roberts recorded her third consecutive game with at least 20 points during the loss at Stonehill on Saturday, pouring in a career-high 27 points to go along with six rebounds and two steals. Florvil set a new career high with 10 rebounds during the setback, including six offensive rebounds. Linnin also scored in double figures for the 12th time this season with 13 points against the Skyhawks.

The Dolphins are currently 6-1 at home against NEC competition, with the only loss coming in overtime against Saint Francis on February 6.

During conference play, Le Moyne ranks third among NEC teams in three-point field goals made per game (6.7), and second in free throw percentage (.778) and free throws allowed per game (10.3). Only FDU has allowed fewer free throws during conference play (9.9).

Roberts currently ranks 10th among NEC players in points per conference game (14.1), tied with FDU's Brown (14.1) and just below Renninger (15.1). Roberts is also seventh in rebounds per conference game (6.3), while senior forward Brianna Williams (Brampton, Ontario/Southwest Academy/Hartford) ranks third in offensive rebounding average (2.2).

After grabbing six offensive rebounds at Stonehill, Florvil ranks sixth among NEC players in offensive rebounds per conference game (2.0), and is tied for sixth in steals (1.6).

Roberts, a career 83.4% shooter from the line, is fourth in the league in free throw percentage (.868), while Linnin is second in both three-point field goal percentage (.375) and made threes per conference game (2.8)

On the year, Linnin is shooting 38.4% (61-for-159) from three-point range. The junior is just the second player in program history to eclipse 60 made threes in a single season three times, joining McKayla Roberts in the exclusive club.

Le Moyne freshman guard Eli Clark (Oakhurst, N.J./Ocean Township) is third in the NEC in assists per conference game (3.7), while Williams ranks sixth in blocks (0.7).

Entering the final day of the regular season, Le Moyne can earn the No. 5 seed in the NEC Tournament, which begins on March 10, with either a win against FDU, or a Wagner loss against Stonehill.
