Baltimore, Md. – The Le Moyne College baseball team set a program record with 12 stolen bases and smashed eight extra-base hits during a 15-6 win over Coppin State University on Saturday in game two of a Northeast Conference series at CSU's Joe Cannon Stadium.
After taking game one of the series on Friday by a score of 4-3, Le Moyne secured the series victory with the win. The two sides will play game three on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
Le Moyne recorded 15 hits and 12 walks during game two, and wreaked havoc on the base paths.

Jack Cannon (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) swiped a team-high four bases, sophomore infielder
Ethan Farina (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa/Saint Rose) stole a career-high three bases, junior outfielder
Paulie Goodness (Palmyra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon/Finger Lakes C.C.) recorded two stolen bases, while freshman infielder
Tim Denet (West Harrison, N.Y./Iona Prep), sophomore catcher
Cooper Romich (North Chili, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) and senior outfielder
Wyatt Patchett (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva) stole one base each. The 12 stolen bases set a team single-game program record.

Adam Sullivan (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus) both homered during the win and finished with two hits and two RBIs each.
Patchett's home run, a two-run shot in the eighth inning, marked his sixth of the season, which ties him for the team lead with Denet, and was the 31
st long ball of his Le Moyne career.
Sullivan's solo home run in the eighth inning was his first of the season.
Denet finished the contest with three hits, including a triple, three RBIs and two runs, while Cannon and Farina added two hits, three walks, two runs and one RBI each.
Senior infielder
Benji Ries (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Adlai E. Stevenson) recorded two doubles, two walks, one run and one RBI for the 'Phins.
Junior left-handed pitcher
Colin Skermont (Yorkville, N.Y./Whitesboro/Herkimer) earned his second win of the season on the mound after limiting the Eagles to two hits, two walks and zero runs with a season-high tying six strikeouts in a season-high 5.0 innings pitched in relief.
Le Moyne redshirt-sophomore
AJ Petraitis (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) made his 10
th start of the season and completed 4.0 innings of work before the contest was halted for about one hour due to a rain delay.
Coppin State second baseman Gavin Grutzmacher launched a solo home run during the bottom of the third and finished the game with two hits, two runs, one walk and one RBI, while second baseman Pranav Sundar registered a team-high two RBIs with a base hit in the fifth.
First baseman Indy Anderson added two hits, one run and one RBI to the Coppin State cause.
Le Moyne scored the first run of the game in the top of the third when Cannon led off the inning with a double, stole third, then crossed the plate following a base hit to left field from Denet.
Grutzmacher's solo shot in the bottom of the frame tied the contest at 1-1.
The Dolphins broke the game open with eight runs in the fifth. Sullivan, Farina, Romich, Denet and Ries each drove in a run during the big inning.
Coppin State responded with five runs during the bottom of the fifth inning, which was broken up by the rain delay. Sundar's two-run single to center field drove in Anderson and Moore to cut CSU's deficit to 9-6.
Cannon manufactured a run for the Dolphins during the top of the seventh. The lefty swinging outfielder drew a leadoff walk, stole second base, then stole third base and scored on a throwing error.
Sullivan led off the eighth inning with a solo home run. Farina drew a walk and stole second base, then Patchett lifted a two-run home run over the left field wall to make it 13-6 in favor of the Dolphins. Le Moyne added two more runs during the frame via a sacrifice fly from Cannon and an RBI single from Denet.
Skermont recorded a 1-2-3 inning with two strikeouts in the bottom of the ninth to close out the win.
Le Moyne improves to 13-7 in NEC play with the win.
