Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team will close out its non-conference slate by hosting Bucknell University on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
The Dolphins and Bison are meeting for the second straight year with Bucknell coming away with a 7-5 home win last year. So far this season, the teams have three common opponents, St. Bonaventure, Hobart and Lafayette, and they have the same outcomes against each. Le Moyne defeated St. Bonaventure, 10-9, while Bucknell beat the Bonnies, 21-8. The Dolphins fell to Lafayette, 15-4, while the Bison fell to the Leopards, 14-5. Le Moyne fell to Hobart, 13-8, while Bucknell lost to the Statesmen, 13-12.
Le Moyne is 7-3 on the year, including 4-0 in NEC play, and is coming off a 9-4 victory over Wagner on Saturday. Graduate student midfielder
Ethan Loun led the Dolphins offensively with career highs of seven points on four goals and three assists and was rewarded for his performance with NEC Co-Player of the Week honors Monday. Redshirt sophomore attackman

Lucas Winger tallied 13 saves between the pipes for the second straight game en route to earning his third consecutive NEC Defensive Player of the Week honor.
On the season, Loun leads six Dolphins with double-digit points with 22 on 12 goals and a team-high 10 assists. Berry has 20 points on a team high-tying 14 points and six assists. Delaney is tied with Berry with 14 goals and has five assists for 19 points. Senior

Emmet McDermott each have 16 points. Eisenmann has 12 goals and four assists and McDermott has seven goals and nine assists. Junior
Owen Wilson rounds out the sextet with 13 points on 11 goals and two assists. Senior
Sam Getty has taken over 81-percent of the team's faceoffs and has won 88 of 167 attempts (.527) and has a team-best 36 ground balls. Graduate student short-stick defensive midfielder
Jack Sullivan leads the defense with seven caused turnovers, while senior
Billy Savage leads defenders with 13 ground balls. Since taking over between the pipes midway through the Hobart game, Winger has 81 saves, a .669 save percentage and a 6.80 goals against average.
The Bison, who were picked to finish seventh in the nine-team Patriot League preseason coaches poll, are 4-6 on the year, including 2-4 in Patriot League action. They are coming off a 12-11 home overtime loss to Loyola. Connor Davis, who has the fourth-most goals among all active Division I players, led the Bison with five points on three goals and two assists. Will Hopkins had two goals and one assist, while Luke Brunner and Michael Meyer each had one goal and two assists. Luke Renaud tallied 17 saves in the setback.
Bucknell opened the year with wins over Merrimack and St. Bonaventure and had the highest-scoring offense (22 goals per game) through the two games. They followed with consecutive losses to Dartmouth, Hobart, Holy Cross and Boston before getting back in the win column with one-goal victories over Colgate and Lehigh. They come into the game off losses to Lafayette and Loyola.
The Bison are led offensively by Meyer, who has 48 points on 20 goals and a team high 28 assists. Davis has a team-best 33 goals and 10 assists for 43 points. Hopkins has 23 points on 12 goals and 11 assists. Owen Kovacs has 17 points on 14 goals and three assists. Colin McLoy has taken just over half of the team's faceoffs, winning 64 of 146 draws (.438), and has a 29 ground balls. Will Pickering leads the team with 18 caused turnovers and has 19 ground balls. Renaud has played 317 of 606 minutes between the pipes and has a 12.09 goals against average, 69 saves and a .519 save percentage.
Following Tuesday's contest, Le Moyne returns to NEC action on Saturday at longtime rival Mercyhurst University at 3:00 p.m.
