Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College softball team will host Binghamton University in a rescheduled mid-week non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday, Apr. 9. Game on will begin at 3:00 p.m. with a 5:00 p.m. start time slated for game two.
Dolphins' Season:
Le Moyne has a 10-21 overall record this season after going 7-13 in four weekend tournaments to kick off the year from Feb. 7 to Mar. 9. Since NEC action kicked off on Saturday, Mar. 15, the squad has gone 2-7 through three conference series and a pair of one-off non-conference matchups.
The Dolphins went 1-2 in their first three-game conference set of the season on the road against Central Connecticut State on Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 15-16. The squad earned their first conference victory in game three of the series, winning 4-3, before being swept in three games against Saint Francis the following weekend, Friday-Sunday, Mar. 21-23.Â
Since then, Le Moyne dropped their home-opener against cross-town rival, Syracuse, 6-0, on Wednesday, Mar. 26 before shutting down Niagara, 9-0, in five innings at home on Thursday, Apr. 3. This past weekend, the squad went 1-2 in a three-game road set against NEC rival Wagner, earning an 11-3 win in five innings on Sunday afternoon.Â
Through all 31 team games this season, senior outfielder Alyssa Dybacz (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) leads the squad in batting average (.320), hits (31), doubles (11), and total bases (45), while sitting second in runs scored (16), RBI (16), and OPS (..849). She has added eight walks and totaled a .385 on-base rate and .464 slugging percentage.
Freshman corner infielder Cianna Benamati (Ballston Lake, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) has put together a team-high .964 OPS in 30 appearances, slashing .303/.398/.566 in 2025 with a team-leading five home runs, 16 RBI, 10 runs scored, and 43 total bases.
As one of the only 'Phins to start in every game this season, sophomore outfielder Sydney Nesci (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) has slashed .261/.333/.380 in the middle of the lineup. Nesci has registered 24 hits with five doubles and a pair of homeruns while leading the team with 20 RBI this season. Her 35 total bases and 13 runs scored both rank third on the squad.Â
Also in the middle of the order this season, sophomore DP Arianna Exarchakis (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) sits fourth on Le Moyne's roster with a .288 batting average, to go along with a .755 OPS in 30 games played. Exarchakis has put together 23 hits, including six doubles, with a team-leading 15 walks for 29 total bases.Â
In the circle, freshman Nevaeh Ross (Friendship, N.Y./Friendship) has carried the brunt of the workload this season, tossing 87.0 of the team's 187.1 innings through 13 starts and 10 relief appearances. She has tallied a 5.39 ERA and 1.72 WHIP with three complete games, including one shutout, one save, and 57 strikeouts.
Freshman Isabella Kwashek (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) has hurled another 67.0 innings for Le Moyne with a 4.60 ERA through 13 starts and 11 relief appearances. She has recorded three complete games with a 1.90 WHIP and 31 strikeouts in 2025.
A Look at the Bearcats:
Binghamton began the 2025 season going 12-8 through four weekend tournaments from Feb. 7-Mar. 9, including a 5-0 slate at the Make It Happen Games in Madeira Beach, Fla. in late February and early March.Â
Since then, the Bearcats have gone 8-3 through four series; a non-conference set against Mercer and three AEC series against UAlbany, UMBC, and most recently Bryant this past weekend. Binghamton took two of their three wins against Bryant in shortened run-rule games, 10-2 and 9-0, in the set.
Junior catcher/infielder Emma Lawson leads the Bearcats with a .387 batting average and 1.078 OPS while starting in all 31 team games this season. Lawson has recorded 36 hits with eight doubles, five home runs, and 10 walks for 59 total bases, which have culminated in 31 RBI and 15 runs scored.Â
Sophomore infielder Elisa Allen sits with a 1.022 OPS and .659 slugging percentage in 31 games so far this year. She has tallied 22 hits with four doubles and a team-leading 10 home runs, 11 walks, 28 RBI, and 16 runs scored.Â
Freshman infielder Rachel Carey sits just behind Lawson with a 1.071 OPS, .385 on-base rate and .686 slugging percentage while hitting .314 at the plate in 30 appearances this season. She has 27 hits with five doubles and nine home runs for 26 RBI and 15 runs scored.Â
Junior pitchers Brianna Roberts and Olivia Kennedy have combined to throw for 153.1 of the squad's 199.1 innings so far this season. Roberts (11-2) leads with a 2.40 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 13 starts and three relief appearances, including nine complete games (four shutouts), and one save. Kennedy (5-8) has played to a 3.57 ERA and 1.60 WHIP with 76 strikeouts in 11 starts and five relief appearances, including another seven complete games for the Bearcats.Â

Le Moyne will host LIU (16-17, 10-2) in their first home NEC series of the year with a doubleheader on Saturday, Apr. 12 (1 p.m./3 p.m.) and one final game at noon on Sunday, Apr. 13.
