Syracuse, N.Y. – Michael Meyer recorded five points to lead Bucknell University to an 11-7 win over the Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team on Tuesday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.
Cam Doolan got the game's scoring started on the first shot of the contest at the 13:36 mark.
Just over three minutes later, freshman midfielder
Emmet McDermott (Pleasantville, N.Y./Pleasantville) scored from the front of the net after collecting a pass from senior midfielder
Ryan Eisenmann (Boca Raton, Fla./Boca Raton).
The Bison scored the next two goals to take the lead for good. Peter Grandolfo tallied his 10th goal of the campaign with 7:22 to go and then Meyer scored from the left alley at the 6:18 mark after receiving a feed from Owen Kovacs.
Le Moyne pulled within one just over one minute into the second quarter as sophomore attackman
Mason Ciciarelli (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) beat Bucknell's 10-man ride with his fourth goal of the season after taking a pass from redshirt sophomore attackman

The Bison regained their two-goal lead with 11:56 remaining in the half as Sean Berrigan scored his ninth goal of the year off a dish from Meyer.
Berry tallied his 15th goal of the season just 54 seconds into the third quarter after collecting a feed from graduate student midfielder

Bucknell countered with the next two goals to open up its first three-goal lead. Will Hopkins recorded his 13th marker of the year just 34 seconds after Berry scored. Following a Le Moyne penalty less than one minute later, Hopkins scored again with 12:05 left off a pass from Meyer in the extra-man situation.
Le Moyne got one goal back with 9:40 left by taking advantage of an extra-man opportunity as Berry finished off a feed from McDermott.
Just over three minutes later, following a Le Moyne penalty, Connor Davis found the back of the net at the 6:28 mark with his 34th goal of the season off a feed from Meyer in an extra-man situation.
Graduate student attackman
Zachary Delaney (Syracuse, N.Y./Onondaga/Hobart) answered back 63 seconds later with his 15th goal of the season to get the Dolphins back within two for the final time.
Bucknell closed out the quarter's scoring with the final two goals. Jack Dudas netted his second goal of the year with 3:45 left for an 8-5 lead. Grandolfo tallied his 11th goal of the season with 34 seconds left.
The teams traded goals in the fourth quarter. The Bison extended their run to three just 41 seconds into the fourth quarter as Luke Brunner scored his 11th goal of the year. Following a Bucknell penalty, McDermott scored in the man-up situation after taking a pass from Eisenmann with 10:57 left. Meyer completed Bucknell's scoring with 5:08 to go off a feed from Doolan. Berry closed out the game's scoring with 2:45 remaining off a feed in an extra-man opportunity from senior midfielder

Sophomore goalkeeper
Lucas Winger (Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South) registered 13 saves in the setback as he became the first Dolphin goalkeeper since at least 2002 to have double-digit saves in seven straight games. Luke Renaud turned away seven shots to earn the win for the Bison.
Le Moyne (7-4) returns to NEC action on Saturday at longtime rival Mercyhurst University at 3:00 p.m.
