Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's basketball team will play its first road game of the 2025-26 season at fellow Jesuit institution Xavier University on Thursday, November 6.
The contest will be the first ever between the programs and Le Moyne's fourth matchup against a member of the BIG EAST since transitioning to the Division I level. The game will be Le Moyne's eighth in the state of Ohio, where they have a 3-4 record, and first since the 2019-20 season (at Lake Erie).
The Dolphins return six letterwinners and two redshirts from last year's squad, which went 9-23, including 4-12 in their second season in the Northeast Conference. The Dolphins return their fourth and fifth-leading scorers from conference play last year in redshirt sophomore guard
Deng Garang and redshirt junior forward
Nate Fouts. The Dolphins have added five transfers and a pair of freshmen to the roster for 2025-26.
The Musketeers went 22-12 overall, 13-7 in the BIG East and went 1-1 in the NCAA Tournament. Under first-year head coach Richard Pitino, the Musketeers return four players, who combined to play four games and score two points last year, while adding 11 transfers and one freshmen.
The team's complete non-conference schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
