Syracuse, N.Y. – A block by freshman forward Praise Matthews (Red Lion, Pa./Dallastown) against Saint Francis in the final seconds of the game has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.
 
 
 
The Dolphins held a four point lead over the Red Flash thanks to free throws from sophomore guard Eli Clark (Oakhurst, N.J./Manasquan) and redshirt sophomore guard Amya McLeod (Rome, N.Y./Rome Free Academy/Youngstown State). Following a timeout from Saint Francis, the Red Flash were inbounding the ball in front of their bench.
 
As the ball was inbounded, Matthews read the play perfectly, jumping out on the hand-off and blocking the shot as just one second remained in the game.
 
The Dolphins went on to win the game 73-69 in the opening game of NEC action.
