Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College Athletics today announced ForEDU as the first jersey patch partner in the history of the Dolphin athletics program. The ForEDU patch will appear on Le Moyne competition uniforms during the College's first year as a full member of NCAA Division I, the first in which its teams are eligible to compete for NCAA championships.

The announcement follows a rule change that took effect August 1, 2026, allowing NCAA Division I programs to display a commercial patch on competition uniforms. Le Moyne is putting that opportunity to work in its first year as a full Division I member, with all 22 varsity teams now eligible for NCAA championships.

ForEDU is a global education technology company founded in Central New York by Vinny Lobdell and Devin Daly, board member and founding investor. Lobdell is an entrepreneur and investor who has built and led ventures across technology, real estate, hospitality and manufacturing, and he mentors early-stage founders. For both founders, the connection to Le Moyne is personal. Lobdell's wife, Susan "Suzie" Hillenbrand Lobdell, is a member of the Class of 2015. Daly's wife, Angela, his sister, and his father, Dr. Dennis Daly, are all Le Moyne graduates.

"Our student-athletes are competing for NCAA championships as full Division I members for the first time, and they will do it alongside a partner that was founded in this community and has a real connection to this College."

"Devin Daly has been part of the Le Moyne family for more than a decade," said Jim Joseph, vice president for Advancement and Innovation and executive dean of the Madden College of Business and Economics. "His company, ImpelAI, emerged from StartFast, an accelerator once based in Madden College. Over the past decade, ImpelAI has hired dozens of Le Moyne alumni, provided a judge at every Dolphin Tank, and served as a presenting sponsor of this year's 10th annual competition. This partnership is a natural next step in a relationship built over many years, and it is only the beginning of how Devin, Vinny and their families will significantly impact Le Moyne."
