Tyler Kelly was named an assistant men's basketball coach on June 18, 2019.

Kelly enters his first season on the sideline for Le Moyne after serving as Director of Player Development at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he was responsible for player management and program operations, and assisted in coordinating official and unofficial visits for recruits.

"I am very excited to have Tyler as part of our staff," said Champion, who is entering his first season leading the Dolphins. "As a player, having a national championship under his belt, and also coaching experience at the Division I and II levels, he is going to be able to bring a lot to the table for us. He is a young coach that has a bright future, I am looking forward to helping Tyler continue on the path he is on to being a very successful coach."

Prior to his stint at UW-Green Bay, Kelly served as an assistant at Florida Southern College for one year. Kelly was a four-year letterwinner for the Moccasins and played a key role in the Mocs' NCAA Division II National Championship run during the 2014-15 season. Kelly was part of 109 wins during his playing career at Florida Southern and finished fourth in the school record books for assists with 498. Kelly graduated from Florida Southern in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

"I'm thrilled to be apart of this basketball staff and this great athletic department," said Kelly. "I'm looking forward to the opportunity and challenge of building on the great success that Le Moyne Men's Basketball has had and competing in one of the best leagues in Division II. I'm excited to coach along side of Coach Champion, who has become one of my good friends in the coaching industry, and look forward to the success that we will have together!"
