Aaron Cahill ’12, M ‘13 enters his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Dolphins. He will help with defense, midfielders and operational activities of the team.
 
Cahill is a graduate of two collegiate powerhouses, Onondaga Community College (OCC) and Le Moyne College. While at OCC he was part of the JUCO national champion team alongside fellow Assistant Coach Vinnie Alexander in 2009.
 
He then brought his talents and academic interest to Le Moyne, where he demonstrated his leadership abilities as a two-year co-captain and obtained NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll. He capped off his college career with the Dolphins winning the 2013 National Championship, while also earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). 
 
Following his graduation from Le Moyne, Cahill continued his playing career internationally with the Ireland National Team as a dual citizen. Competing in the World Championships in Denver 2014, leading in points in the European Championships in Budapest 2016 and finishing as a captain of the team in Israel at the 2018 World Championships. Cahill continues to contribute to the growth of lacrosse in Ireland as a board member, currently serving as the Director of Alumni. 
 
Following graduation, Cahill worked seven years in Global Supply Chain Management as a Commodity Manager for an automotive and semiconductor manufacturer. He then made a career change into Financial Services as a registered Investment Advisor Representative with Voya Financial. As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), he assists educators across NY State with retirement planning, investment management and insurance needs. 
 
Cahill resides in Syracuse with his wife Annie and their two daughters, Rowan and Finley.
