Jason Stenta is back for his second stint with the Dolphins as he joins the women’s soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach in the Spring of 2026.
Stenta came to Le Moyne after eight seasons as the Varsity Girls Head Soccer Coach at Phoenix High School. During his time there, Stenta helped get a program that had one-to-two-win seasons to the sectional Class B Title Game.
Before his time at Phoenix, he was an Assistant Coach for four years with Men’s Soccer program at Le Moyne and two years at Binghamton University on the men’s side.
Stenta started his collegiate coaching career with the Bearcats after playing professionally for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL as well as MLS preseason camps with the Columbus Crew and Portland Timbers.
He was a four-year starting goalkeeper at Binghamton University, where he holds the school record for shutouts (36) and most saves while helping lead them to an America East Title.
Scholastically, he was a standout at Chenango Valley High School, where he was first team all-state selection in high school and named All-Metro/Player of the Year in Basketball.
Stenta is also the 2014 Syracuse Development Academy (SDA) MLS Next Boys Coach and works with goalkeepers individually.
