2022-23 – Freshman: Competed in both singles and doubles during all 17 of the team’s matches in her first collegiate campaign… recorded two wins at the ITA East Regional to advance to the round of 16… went 2-2 in second position singles… tallied her first singles win at Bentley (Sep 17) in the No. 3 position by score of 6-3, 6-4… claimed a No. 2 singles win during a 7-0 victory at Saint Michael’s (Sep 20) …  registered her second No. 2 position singles win during a 7-0 victory for the Dolphins at Assumption (Oct 1) … went 6-5 in single matches at the third position… won her No. 3 position singles match against Binghamton (Oct 4) by a score of 6-4, 6-1 as the Dolphins defeated the Bearcats 5-2… tallied 14 victories in No. 3 doubles with her partner, fellow rookie Paula Casares… Alvarez and Casares went on a 13-match win streak at No. 3 doubles between September 17 and March 5… Alvarez and Casares were named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team for No. 3 doubles… following the fall regular season, Alvarez was named to the All-Conference Third Team for No. 3 singles, as well as the NE10 All-Rookie Team
