SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Le Moyne's non-conference home baseball game versus Binghamton on Wednesday has been moved from 3:30 to a 4:00 p.m. start. The Dolphins (22-11, 9-5 MAAC) are looking to push their win streak to six in a row, which would constitute their longest winning streak of the season.

Starting on the mound for Le Moyne is senior left-hander Michael Falasca (Sicklerville, N.J. / Gloucester Catholic). Falasca has posted a 1-4 record with a 3.85 earned run average in seven starts this season. He has struck out 32 batters in 39.2 innings while yielding only 34 hits.

The top four hitters of the Dolphins' lineup have provided the spark for the offense this season. Since re-arranging the top four spots of the batting order for the game against Albany on April 18, Le Moyne has won five in row while hitting .366 and scoring 54 runs. Senior first baseman Keith Connors (Jamesport, N.Y./Commack), now the lead-off hitter, is 10-for-20 with three home runs, 12 runs batted in and has scored 11 times since the 18th. Connors is fourth on the team in batting average at .320 for the season.  Connors, Michael Affronti (Dix Hills, N.Y. /Commack) and Ben Gaal (Manlius, N.Y. /Christian Brothers Academy) are tied for the team lead in runs batted in with 31 a piece. Gaal and Connors lead the team in home runs with seven each. Leading Le Moyne in batting average is sophomore Andy Parrino (Brockport, N.Y. /Brockport) at .374 for the season.

The Binghamton Bearcats are coming into Wednesday's game against the Dolphins with a 19-13-1 overall record and a 6-4 record in the America East conference. Leading the way on the mound for the Bearcats is junior Zach Groh. Groh has posted a 4-0 record with a 0.44 earned run average. Groh is also leading the team in strikeouts with 43 and is second in innings pitched with 41.0. Also helping out on the mound is junior pitcher Mike Van Gorder.  Van Gorder has a 3-1 record, a 3.51 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 33.1 innings. On top of the offensive stats for Binghamton is junior first baseman Brendon Hichcock. Hitchcock has a .350 batting average, a team-high 33 runs batted in and 68 total bases.  Junior outfielder Jeff Monaco is third on the team with a .318 batting average, has driven in 28 runs and scored 21 times.
