THIRD-RANKED MEN'S LACROSSE DEFEATS BENTLEY ON SENIOR DAY 12-3

SYRACUSE, NY. - No. 3 Le Moyne used a 6-0 run to begin the game to defeat Bentley 12-3 on Senior Day at the Niland Athletic Complex. With the victory, the Dolphins improve to 11-2 on the season and 7-2 in the Northeast 10 Conference. With the loss, Bentley falls to 3-8 and 2-6 in conference.

The Dolphins jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first quarter as six different players scored for Le Moyne.  Bentley's Brad Tunis scored a man-up goal to start the second quarter to break through for the Falcons. Le Moyne would tally the next three goals and took a commanding 11-2 advantage into the fourth quarter.

Mike McDonald (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) and Alex Bily (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) led the Le Moyne attack as they both notched two goals each. Seven other Dolphins registered goals to round out Le Moyne's attack. Tunis led the way for Bentley with two goals.

Le Moyne's defense once again held their opponent to five goals or less. This marks the ninth time this season the Dolphins have achieved this feat. Jared Corcoran (Concord, N.H./Concord) picked up his 11th victory of the season registering six saves.

Le Moyne will next prepare for the Northeast 10 Congerence Tournament. The Dolphins will enter as a two seed and host the winner of Tuesday's quarterfinal match-up on Friday at 4:00 pm at the Niland Athletic Complex.
