UTICA, NY-The men's tennis team defeated Utica College in a non conference game 6-3. Currently the Dolphins are ridding a two game win streak after stringing together wins at American International and Utica College. The Dolphins strength in the match came in doubles competition where they put the match away, by taking two-of-three matches. The Dolphins improve to 4-8 on the season (3-6 NE-10).
The Dolphins helped wrap up the match by dominating the doubles competition. Ryan Davidson and Kodi Kosmoski defeated Ben Tigges and Khoa Vo 8-3. It was the Dolphins' Ben Jordan, teaming up with Chris Meeker to defeat Paul Alexander and Thomas Armitage.
The Dolphins took four-of-the-six single matches. Kodi Kosmoski quickly put the Dolphins on the board defeating Ben Tigges 6-3, 6-3. Jason Kernowski and Chris Meeker added to the three consecutive Dolphin's wins in a row. It was Shaun Kaleta would stop the bleeding for Utica defeating Josh Patterson. Ben Jordan would quickly pick up the Le Moyne tennis team by responding with a 7-6, 6-0 victory against Thomas Armitage.
