Syracuse, N.Y. – Junior Tara O'Donnell (Delmar, N.Y./Bethlehem) won two individual events and teamed on a relay victory to lead the Le Moyne College women's swimming and diving team to a 132-80 win over Cazenovia College on Friday evening at the Rev. Vincent B. Ryan, S.J. Pool. Junior Josh Byrne (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) won both diving events to lead the men's team to a 96-72 win over the Wildcats.

On the men's side, Byrne won the first one-meter diving event with 269.95 points, while capturing the second one-meter diving event with 296.75 points. The quartet of juniors Chris Mosconi (Gloversville, N.Y./Gloversville), Ben Verdi (Buffalo, N.Y./St. Joseph's) and Daniel Tarbrake (Beltsville, Md./Gonzaga College High) and senior Ricky Divaccaro (Woodstown, N.J./Woodstown) opened the meet by winning the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:40.81. Mosconi and Divaccaro each recorded individual victories as Mosconi touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:56.60, while Divaccaro topped the field with a time of 22.93 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle. Freshman Andy Raiola (Brooklyn, N.Y./Xavier) opened his collegiate career by winning the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:53.41, while sophomore Tim Buff (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) was victorious in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:01.69.

O'Donnell picked up her first win of the evening as part of the 200-yard medley relay. She teamed with freshmen Kelsey Smith (Binghamton, N.Y./Chenango Valley), Alyssa Baker (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) and Lindsey Wright (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) to register a time of 1:54.43 in the meet-opening event. Two events later, she touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:00.61, while registering a time of 55.80 seconds to claim the 100-yard freestyle. Sophomore Allison Miedaner opened her Le Moyne career by sweeping the two one-meter diving events. She won the first with 158.10 points and captured the seconds with 148.90 points. In addition to her relay victory, Baker touched the wall first in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.09 seconds. Junior Katelyn Votapka (Binghamton, N.Y./Chenango Valley) recorded a pair of wins as she topped the field in the 1000-yard freestyle in 11:30.81 and led off for the victorious 200-yard freestyle relay team. Votapka, freshman Sarah Gaffney, junior Meghan Myers (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) and senior Kerry Steve (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) won the relay in 1:51.72.

The Dolphins are back in action on Saturday, October 18 at Hartwick College at 1:00 p.m.
