Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with Stonehill College on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Ted Grant Field. The Dolphins move to 3-3-1 on the season, including a mark of 1-1-1 in conference play, while Stonehill moves to 4-0-1, 2-0-1 in the NE-10.
In the opening half, the Skyhawks registered a 5-4 advantage in shots, but did not put an attempt on goal, while the Dolphins had two shots on target. The second half featured a 9-6 edge in shots by Le Moyne, including a 3-0 margin in shots on goal. Over the two overtime periods, the Dolphins registered the only shot, but it was pushed wide.
Junior goalkeeper
Tori Corsaro (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool), the reigning Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week and the ECAC Defensive Player of the Week, earned her eighth career tie between the pipes after not being required to make a save. Jamie Block recorded five saves in the draw for the Skyhawks.
Le Moyne continues its three-game homestand on Tuesday against the University of New Haven at 3:00 p.m.
