After each team had a shot saved, junior midfielder Alyssa Ricci (Binghamton, N.Y./Seton Catholic) crossed the ball from the left side to junior midfielder Rachel Terry (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal), who slotted the ball into the right side of the net at the 6:29 mark for her second tally of the season.

Just five minutes later, the Dolphins doubled their lead. Sophomore back Alexis Kline (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) collected a loose ball in the box and fed the ball to Ricci, who knocked the ball into the middle of the net for her first career goal.

Off a corner kick, sophomore back Emily Goldasic (Thornhill, Ontario/Elizabeth Catholic) served the ball into the box, where Ristoff with able to drill a shot into the middle of the net for her sixth goal of the season.

Following 17 minutes of scoreless action, the Purple Knights started their comeback attempt. From midfield, Abby Pelon sent a through ball to Meagan Brady, who scored into the center of the goal with 31:58 elapsed for her fifth goal of the campaign.

Colegrove then gave the Dolphins a 5-2 advantage with a shot to the middle of the goal at the 66:52 after collecting a Saint Michael's turnover.

Saint Michael's got back within two just 2:26 later as Pelon collected a pass at the top of the penalty box, evaded a defender and put a shot inside the left post for her first goal of the year.
