Waltham, Mass. – Junior midfielder
Stephanie Liberati (Liverpool, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) dished out a pair of assists to lead the Le Moyne College women's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Bentley University on Tuesday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action.
The teams went scoreless in the first half despite combining for 20 shots. The Dolphins put four shots on goal that had to be saved, while Bentley put three shots on target requiring saves.
After the teams combined for 10 shots (Le Moyne 4, Bentley 6) over the opening 18 minutes of the second half, the Dolphins scored twice in a span of 3:22. The Dolphins scored the only goal they would need at the 63:15 mark as Liberati settled the ball and then sent a short pass to freshman midfielder
Claire Stackel (Watertown, N.Y./Copenhagen), who then fired a low shot into the net from 12 yards out for her fourth goal of the season.
Only 3:22 later, Liberati made a run down the right wing before crossing the ball into the penalty box. Junior midfielder
Azure Daley (Elmont, N.Y./Elmont) ran onto the ball and one-touched a shot into the goal from 15 yards out for her first career goal.
The Falcons recorded three shots on goal over the final 17 minutes, but could not find the back of the net.
Sophomore goalkeeper

Deirdre Macrorie also posted eight saves between the pipes for the Falcons.
