Painesville, Ohio – Three Dolphins each registered five points to lead the second-ranked Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team to a 22-9 win over seventh-ranked Lake Erie College on Saturday afternoon at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium.

Jackson picked up his first goal of the day with 10:16 left after taking a pass from Jenkins, while Rogers capped the opening run with another unassisted goal with 7:52 left in the quarter.

Thomas gave the Dolphins their four-goal lead back by finishing off a pass from Jackson in an extra-man situation with 1:33 to go.

Le Moyne extended its lead to 11-1 with the first six goals of the second quarter. Following five minutes of scoreless action to start the quarter, sophomore attackman/midfielder Justin Kesselring (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) scored twice in a span of 40 seconds, the first of which was assisted by Thomas. Jenkins and Rogers then fed each other for goals 65 seconds apart. Jackson gave the Dolphins a 10-1 lead with 3:40 left and then sent a pass to senior attackman Pat Nowak (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) with 1:56 remaining.

After Black-Araujo recorded his second unassisted goal of the game with 1:28 left, Nowak finished off a feed from senior midfielder Mike Fiorini (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) with two seconds left for his sixth goal of the game.

The teams split the eight goals in the third quarter. Le Moyne started the scoring as Kesselring scored for the 10th time this season after collecting a pass from Nowak in a man-up situation with 11:40 left.

Lake Erie scored the next two goals to get within single digits. Kole Robinson scored his first goal of the season with 10:07 left off a pass from Mitchell Shafer, who then netted his sixth goal 42 seconds later.
